Pretville, Hartbeespoort

This one is a little ways out of Randburg, but well worth the trip. Pretville is a small American-themed town set in the 60s. Based on a movie set, this town is picture-perfect, primed with scenes of vintage cars, a pink diner, and functioning old-town no-frown activities like watching an old movie in the theatre or grabbing a fluffy milkshake.

Northgate Ice Rink

Sublime in summer and wonderful in winter, ice skating is both fitness-focused fun and a stunning social scene.
